The COF Africa Student Support Fund is an educational assistance initiative created to provide financial and essential academic support to students whose education may be threatened by economic hardship.
Across many communities, talented and determined young people face challenges that have little to do with their willingness or ability to learn. The cost of tuition, school fees, books, learning materials, transportation, accommodation, and other educational necessities can place enormous pressure on students and their families.
For some, these financial difficulties can lead to interrupted studies, missed opportunities, or even dropping out of school entirely.
At COF Africa, we believe that financial hardship should never be the reason a promising student is forced to abandon their education or dreams.
Removing Barriers to Education
The Student Support Fund provides targeted assistance to help deserving students overcome some of the financial obstacles standing between them and their education.
Depending on identified needs, support may contribute toward school-related expenses, educational materials, learning resources, and other essential academic needs that enable students to continue their studies.
Our focus goes beyond providing temporary relief. We want to give students the stability and encouragement they need to concentrate on learning, develop their potential, and work toward becoming productive members of their communities.
