The Empowering Abilities 2025 Outreach, organized by the Christiana Omosigho Foundation in Benue State, was created to promote inclusion, dignity, and meaningful support for individuals living with disabilities. The initiative reflects COF’s commitment to building communities where every individual is valued, supported, and given the opportunity to participate fully in society.

Through the outreach, the Foundation engaged directly with people living with disabilities, providing assistance aimed at addressing immediate needs while creating a welcoming environment where participants felt seen, respected, and included. Beyond providing support, the initiative also served as an opportunity to draw greater attention to some of the social, economic, and accessibility challenges that people with disabilities experience in their everyday lives.

A major focus of Empowering Abilities is changing the conversation from disability to possibility. COF believes that physical or other limitations should not prevent individuals from accessing opportunities, participating in their communities, or living with dignity and independence. By encouraging greater understanding and community involvement, the project seeks to challenge stigma and promote a more inclusive society.

The 2025 outreach in Benue State represents another step toward this goal, bringing together beneficiaries, volunteers, community members, and supporters around a shared commitment to inclusion and compassion.

Our Goal

Our goal is to continue expanding the Empowering Abilities initiative to reach more individuals and communities, provide practical support where it is needed most, and encourage greater awareness and inclusion of people living with disabilities.

With your support, we can reach more people, strengthen inclusive communities, and help create a society where ability is recognized, dignity is protected, and no one is left behind.
